Our Philosophy
Lab Rehab believes in working closely with therapists and experts from the health care industry to engineer and develop products whose performance and functionality satisfy exactly the demands for good and proper rehabilitation.
The Process
Wishlist. Direct from the health care experts. Each project that Lab Rehab undertakes begins its life with an identification process we call the Wishlist process. The Wishlist process encourages therapists and health care experts to discuss with us the type of equipment they wish to see developed in the health care rehabilitation sector. This could range from wishing for equipment to target specific rehabilitation purposes, eg balancing, to wishing for equipment which are not yet available in the market.
Prototype development. Working with the therapists. Once we determine that such Wishlist equipment can be successfully engineered and produced, our research and development team takes over and proceeds to develop the prototype. The prototype goes through various stages of development with full input from the therapists and health care experts. All product functions and features are carefully developed through this process. Testing and commissioning follow after that.
The finished product. Serving the health care sector. Once the final commercial prototype is commissioned, the equipment is manufactured and a new Lab Rehab product is introduced into the market to serve the health care industry.
There are no set formulas in how we work. But there is one guiding principle we do follow: all equipment that we engineer must be simple in execution with direct application and functionality so that we can keep prices affordable. It simply means that we will not produce any complicated, multi-functioning equipment. We work to help patients in need by getting useful rehabilitation equipment to the market from just a wish.
